Imperial XR-58 Tank Droid, In the Blind Spot ! ( Rendering - Animation - Compositing )
A lone Bothan keeps low in the shadows, pinned down by the endless patrol loop of XR-58 droid tanks. In this district the Empire has phased out organic troopers entirely, replacing them with sleepless machines that never hesitate and never tire. The tanks grind through the streets with mechanical indifference. The mood of the shot, leans into a brutal mix of ED-209-style urban suppression and the cold hunter logic of HK units from the Terminator, turning the city into a monitored cage. Will these Bothans succeed their mission or suffer heavy losses?
The video was created with the idea that can be perfectly looped, sending the idea of the surveillance never stops and that it can used as a live background during narration. It was a nice challenge to loop seamlessly the different elements.
