In this scene, a Bothan agent exploits that flaw. Attacking from above, using elevation, foliage, and timing, the operative turns the Empire’s sleepless machine into a trapped target. The moment echoes early Imperial overconfidence: brute-force automation replacing adaptable troops, with predictable results. The XR-58 is not defeated by firepower, but by terrain, tactics, and patience.
Main Inspiration for this shot was how ridiculous a handicapped ED-209 looked when it fell from the stairs.
