TIE DROID

The TIE/droid is an automated Imperial starfighter developed by Sienar Fleet Systems and Haor Chall Engineering, combining the TIE design language with technology inherited from the Separatist Vulture droid.
Prolonged engagements can expose a disturbing flaw. When overheating and tactical limitations take their toll, the droid may abandon conventional attack patterns and become dangerously unpredictable, ramming, grappling, or even pouncing onto opposing ships in desperate attempts to destroy them, sometimes at the cost of its own destruction.
